TIDA-00637: Request use of GFCI test and rest of part number and information

Dears,

Please kindly help to share with below infromation

1. Part # and Vendor's name of CT on page 27 (Figure 22. system as tested)?

2. Part # and Vendor's name of J1772 CABLE(Figure 22. system as tested)? 

2. Question with  test result Pic on Page 32.

- Is Blue line  Final GFCI TEST SIGNAL and red line is measured on  MCU I/O pin?

- Is that correct that blue line is test result that measured on X6-1 connect pin?

- Is Red line is signal of GFCI Fault singal or GFCI+?

3. Use for GFCI TEST SIGNAL 

- Is GFCI TEST SIGNAL just for test to check on right activation physically on EVSE reference board? 

- Does it mean that MCU make 2Khz freq, and make activate coil on CT and op-amp amplify loopback signal from CT and MCU recongnize this signal?

I have a question about the functioning of the component tlk27-11sp, on the reception how can one know if the data which arrives from the transmitter are data injected throughTXD0 to TXD15 or prbs generator (10 bits)?

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate (transient) SM74611KTTR with 10uF capacitor connected to diode's cathode. I was expected DC voltage ripple at cathode. But, output voltage is sinusoidal (which follows input ). Any clue?

Circuit attached. Input voltage: 1V AC, 8Hz. DC offset voltage is 3V

Hello, 

I have some questions about the TIDA-070002 reference design:

1. why isolate the feedback loop, what advantage does this give?

2. would you agree that the over-current facility isn't strictly required which means that INA901 and LM139 could be removed from the design?

3. What functions are L1 and D11 performing?

4. why are there so many output capacitors after the secondary output from T1?

5. why are there so many input capacitors before T1?

PMP4745: Drive Current

Hi E2E,

Our customer refer PMP4745  to design TPS23757.

But the MOS which customer use that had higher Qg lead to VGS can't pull low at the moment. (Please refer the waveform)
(Customer MOS's Qg=42nC, PMP4745 MOS's Qg=17nC)

We modify R12 to 43.2R  can fix this issue. (the Q1 Gate can pull low fast)

Could you let us know does have any risk with modify R12 to 43.2R?

I started to make Pcb from TIDA-00792 Gerber files given over TI website. But am not getting "Pick and Place FIle from Gerber Data".

Is any body having Pick and Place file for the same ?

Hi dear TI Experts,

I want to use PMP11236 reference design for my project. I need to connect one of both 220V AC or 24V DC in the same plug(only one). Thats why I choose this part(It is okay if you suggest another one). And, here is the problem: I want to use it for powering and Arduino board, relay board and 7-segment board. But the PMP11236 says, it is supply 20mA for 5V. Is the PMP11236's power supply okay for this kind of application?

Here is the board that I have designed so far;

Here, I am not using 24V output, only 5V output.

TIDA-00366: Replacing the Bootstrap by Isolated DC/DC

Hi,

I am trying to design a 15-20kW AFE motor drive, which consists of an active rectifier and an inverter. I may or may not use the bootstrap DC for the inverter part. But, when the bootstrap is used in the rectifier's gate driver, the modulation index range will be limited. Due to this limited Duty Cycle, for the rectifier part I have to replace it with the Isolated DC/DC converters. I need to use 15/15 DC/DC for the gate driver and 15/5 DC/DC for the ADC current sensing part. Do you have any suggestions from TI products, which is compatible in this application design and works good with the other parts? Also, I need to add three voltage sensors to the rectifier board for the PLL implementation. Do you have any suggestions for that part as well?

TIDA-01168: Details on Top Side Interface Material

Hi Team,

My customer would like to know more details on the interface material between the bus bar and the top side of the PCB on page 10 of TIDA-01168?

More specifically, is the bus bar in direct contact with the copper planes (board top side) or is there an interface material to fill in the air gaps (if any)?

I see that the materials and detailed description are included for the bottom side, but want to understand if it’s the same for the top side.

Our customer is doing a load transient simulation for TLV62568 and he got an error message "Simulation Failed - Sim Type: Load Transient Sim ID: 1"

The parameters used in simulation are as follows:

Input voltage: 2.7V - 3.6V, Output voltage: 1.2V and, Max output current: 1A.

Hello all,

I'm trying to use the ADS1292R for ECG purposes (I'm not interested in getting respiration measurements). I went to page 58 of the datasheet and I found schematic for the input signals, but it includes the respirartion inputs too (I attach a picture bellow). My question is: what should I do with the respiration inputs if I won't use them? Can I just use the same schematic and just ignore the respiration inputs, or should I make some changes?

Hello!
I use same one shot autodirection control schematic in my device as in TIDA-00333. According to this method RS485 line reaches full -1.5 V (driver output on A and B lines) durind 0 transmission, but reaches only litle bit more than 200 mV (failsafe bias level) during 1 transmitssion instead of minimum 1.5 V (min driver output) according RS485 standart. Does it decrease robustness of such RS485 design on long distances compared to standart RS485 implementation with DE (driver enable) controled by PC or MCU during entire 8 bit transmissin?
