PMP10222: Gerber data and BOM, Schematic data is different

$

Part Number: PMP10222

Hello experts,

My customer is interested in PMP10222.

But Gerber data is different from BOM, schematic data.

For example, there is no foot print of C102 on Gerber data. Also, they said that there is no R101, C101 on Gerber data.

Could you check the detail, please?

Thanks and best regards,

Ryo Akashi

Part Number: TIDA-010000

Hi,

I am trying to redesign the reference design for a Motor Drive application with the following requirements: -

Input voltage290–1000 VDC
Output voltage24 V (3 A), Iso. 5 V (2 A)
Vop124V24V3A
Vop25V iso5V2A
Vauxaux12V0.1A
Output power82W Inclusive of all output rails

I got the following calculations for the Transformer design with Rcs = 0.38 ohm, Ipp_nom = 2A, Iocc_actual = 4A, Lp = 1290uH :-

Transformer Design Requirement Summary
PARAMETERVALUEUNITCOMMENTS
Nps9.00 Turns ratio for primary to 24-V secondary
Nps_iso39.00 Turns ratio for primary to 5-V isolated secondary
Nas16.71 Integer turns reduced Nas from 17.93 to 16.71
Lp1600.00µHOperating frequency at full-load = 32 kHz

Could you help with the Transformer design?
I tried the same with 24V, 4A output in WEBENCH designer (doesn't support multiple output) and got the Core type - E32/16/9.

I am guessing the VS feedback and Line Sense current compensation and Output voltage feedback circuits will remain the same (from the calculations). Would cross regulation be a serious issue in this ?

Could you help to verify the same and also how to proceed ahead ?

Regards,
Rohit.

Hello,

Mention the maximum and minimum input voltage and current cutoff for BMS in charger side(P-) and load side (battery pack). Is there any way to programme the IC for our application while charging( 42V and 5A).

We are using 10s4p li ion battery pack.

Thanks

Dear Texas / All,

I have one query for TIDA-010193 U8 chip pin-6 'TS1' , please help to understand, voltage available at pin-6 of U8 when a switch 'S1' is pressed ?

Limit for that pin 'TS!' is 5vdc as per datasheet.

Hello

I have a personal interest in DC Power Line Communication (PLC) over 12V (sailboats, they use normally 12V batteries). Do you know if it is feasible? Do you know of any previous attempt in 12V?

Thanks in advance!

I am using WEBENCH to create a circuit with LM2735 and I am not able to because the software always returns the error:

"Design cannot be created!
Your preferred device does not work with the inputs you selected.
Please change your inputs or select another device."

The input parameters for designing WEBENCH:

LM2735X

Input: DC 2.7 V - 5.5 V
Output: 12 V at 2 A
Temp: 30 °C
Why does the software(WEBENCH) not allow you to create a design with these characteristics for the LM2735?.
 If the datasheet reports that the item can work under these conditions;

TIDA-00449: Maximum and minimum input to BMS while charging

Part Number: TIDA-00449

Hello,

This is regarding TIDA-00449 BMS.
While charging the Li ion battery pack(10s4p) through BMS(ie. through Pack- terminal), what is the minimum and maximum current allowed through BMS(TIDA-00449)?
For example, is it OK to use 42V charger with 9A current or 3A current?

Will the BMS allow any current for charging the battery pack or is there any way to program the IC to make it possible for the need of our application(fast charging 9A or normal charging 4A).

Thanks

WEBENCH® Tools/LM5175: 19 LM5175PWPR 12V-30V to 28.00V @ 15A

$

Part Number: LM5175

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Dear Sirs

Use LM5175 in the following project:

I enclose schematic and pcb in pdf format

VIN range 12-30V Vout 28V 15A 100Khz with a parallel of two inductor wurth 7443641000 10uH 37A 2.4 mOhm equivalent inductor 5uH 74A 1.2 mOhm.

With 13.5 V in input and 28 V in output the card works in buck-boost instead of working only in boost mode.

I think the main problem is that we developed it on 4-layer FR4, therefore the mosfet dissipation area does not allow to have short gate tracks.

One thing I checked between redoing the same project with the "LM5175 Buck-Boost Quickstart Tool - r9.xlsm" and with the "WBdesign" I get different results.

For example the compensation components (COMP pin) with the "WBdesign" I get 10Kohm + 15nF // 330pF with the "Buck-Boost Quickstart Tool - r9.xlsm"

I get 3K16 Kohm + 12nF // 39pF (NB by entering data of the inductance 5uH 1,2mOhm).

Another mistake we made is that of not having drawn tracks SW1 // HDRV1 and SW2 // HDRV2 side by side.

I would appreciate you to report any corrections before producing the next sample.

Hi,

i use Windows10 with .Net Framework (Vers. 4.7.2) and i have troubles to go in connection with the hardware.

First i installed DELTASIGMAEVAL-GUI-installer.exe and after that, i installed ADS131A04-dvcpkg.exe. All seems fine and also Generic Bulk Device Driver was installed sucessful.

When i open first Delta-Sigma ADC EVAL Tool it open, but if i connect the hardware -> no connection was found (Image 1)

When i open Delta-Sigma ADC EVAL Tool after i connect the hardware -> hardware connect, but no Addresses or Registernames are shown on screen (Image 2, 3)

Please help!

TIDA-01093: tida-01093- schematic connector-P2 & switch-S1

$

Part Number: TIDA-01093

Dear texas ,

What will be the situation when S1 switch is pressed & thermistor @ P2 is present ?

Please help to understand scenario, when both Thermistor @ P2 connector & Switch-S1 is pressed.

What am worried is following :-

  • Consider that, Thermistor @ P2 connector is left unused or absent or unmounted, and Switch S1 is pressed, than a momentary spike will be produced @ TS1 when ever Switch S1 is pressed due to D23 &C29 components.
  • Now consider @ P2 Thermistor is mounted, & some one presses switch S1, than due to presence of thermistor some voltage will always be available @ TS1 pin of AFE, due to which Switch press due to S1 wont be visible or if visible, than momentary Thermistor temp will be blanked, which is not undesirable.
  • Similarly the case is for connector P4 .

Please comment on above understanding.

Also what will be the scenario when charger not connected & Switch-S1 is pressed , will the MCU detect charger present, even when charger is not connected?

Hi,

I have two queries in TIDA-01495

  1. For an minimum input AC voltage range of 70VAC, please suggest the voltage divider to be connected to VINAC pin in UCC28063.

  2. Is the design suitable for both AC and DC input? If there are any alterations to be done please do suggest.

Thank you.
