I need to design a dc-dc (booster step up) starting from a liion battery 3.7V with an output (not isolated) of 80V and 80ma.
Webench doesn't find a solution … what do you suggest me.
Thanks.

Is there a way to model an intermittent current pulse in Webench while having a nominal current draw from a regulator?
Thanks,

Hello, I'm new in this forum, I'm even newer when it comes to the TIDA series of board. Problem, cannot buy this board fully assembled!?! So from here, where do I go? I'm looking on your website a process to ease the purchase at least the PCB, ready to be populated!?! None found!
So basically, I have to purchase all components, send the the PCB layout to a company to have the PCB manufactured?
As such, does TI has a supply chain of manufacturers of PCB and assembly?
I do not want to built, I want to test and evaluate.
Does TI sells an equivalent board as the TIDA-00446 that can be purchase, ready to test.

Part Number:TIDA-00173
Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
hello,
good day!
I customized the transformer of TIDA-00173 for my application to have :
4 separate output for IGBT driver power
1.GND_U VCC_U
2.GND_V VCC_V
3.GND_W VCC_W
4.GND_E VCC_E
one output for fan
5.GND_24 VCC_24
one output for function board
6.GND_FNC VCC_FNC
one out put for AUX ...
7.GND_AUX VCC_AUX
in put voltage is 620VDC.
but sadly, It had very Spike in all of out puts.
so I came up with an idea to put capacitor (10nf 1000v) from HV+ coil pin to all of Ground pin in outputs (6 capacitor in total) .
in other word
C1(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_U
C2(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_V
C3(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_W
C4(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_E
C5(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_FNC
C6(10nf 1000v) between +HV ,GND_24
it works good ,and now my outputs have a small spike,
so,my question is that :
1. if is that wrong to put capacitor between primary coil and all of secondary coils or not?
2.(as you know the IGBT driver powers must be separated from each other ),so those capacitor does have bad effect?
3.since it is customized transformer what else we can do to reduce the noise sound and spike of it.
thanks for attention .
Dave.
Part Number:TIDA-03030
Hi,
my customer wants to drive a USB Typ C Headset for audio output.
We have looked into TIDA-03030.
The question is what would be the best amplifier in their tool to drive the “3.5mm audio jack” for the TIDA-03030.
The idea is that a tool drives the "3.5mm audio jack" will all be implement in the tool - so not a real connector) and a headset can be connect to the USB-Typ C connector for audio output.Pls see attached draft.
Ideal would be an audio amplifier with I2C control.
Especially for the pure path devices it isn’t clear how the GND signal is handled (because of move to “mid” potential of the audio signal).
Do you have some recommendations on how to drive the audio signal to the TIDA-03030 3.5mm audio jack driving a USB Typ C Headset.

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models
Good day!
I hope to use a rohm's sct3022kl , they have spice in their web, but I failed to use it through TINA's new macro wizard.
https://www.rohm.com/products/sic-power-devices/sic-mosfet/sct3022kl-product/documents
when I used the new macro wizard to install sct3022kl spice, the error message shown some syntax error about the ".FUNC R11(I) {80.66m*ASINH(I/0.5692)*EXP((TEMP-T0)/215.4)+23.87m*I*EXP((TEMP-T0)/341.7)}". But I don't know why it can't install. I tried to understand those .func, asinh, temp meanings, but I don't know where to find them definitions.
Is it possible to use them in TINA ?
Thank you.

Hello, I'm HJ.
Nowadays, I am checking TIDA-01627 circuit design.
This is the power bank and also it can charge 3S li-ion battery.
But I don't find cell balancing circuit. Isn't it need to balance?
I think it will be a problem after a long time.
So, I want to know how to solve this problem.
I would appreciate it if you could answer this question.

I would like to ask you!
Can i buy it somewhere TIDA-00824 product?
Where can i buy Hollow Metal Cap or what's name?
What is the thermally conductive epoxy product name?
How thick the Remote PCB and cooper on the Remote PCB? Is the Remote PCB a gold-plated board?
Is the Thermal Via filled up with epoxy?
Why used Nickel Wires ?

Hello,
We are using TlV3012-Q1 comparator for power level detection. We would like to set power under voltage detection at 11V. Now we want hysteresis of 0.4V. We connected circuit as per datasheet in figure 23. That gives us values 115K and 10K for hysteresis of 0.4V.
Now we want comparator output changes transitions at 11V and 11,4V, simulated circuit in TINA however at 11.4V it does not changes. I have attached TINA file for reference. Can anybody confirms that our circuit is OK or any alteration is required?

Part Number:PMP11237
Hi!
I have a question about the inductior design for the PMP11237. I´m making a power supply with the UCC29950, but i don´t sure about the inductor design (L1 in this design) because it don´t especificate in the datasheet. What is a good material for a little inductor in PMP11237? I´m think that 3F3 ferrite it is good because f=100kHz, but it is the material for the inductor L1 in PMP11237?
Part Number:TIDA-00996
Dear all,
one of my customer is going to replicate in the lab the setup of the TIDA-00996 in order to synchronize 8 DACS. The frequency in place are lower than the capabilities of the DAC3xJ84 (fs about 240MHz, fout in the range between 20MHz and 100MHz).
1. Can the DAC3xJ84 support those low frequencies ? The EVM of the DAC38J84 has some balun at the output (min freq 10MHz), which is the behavior at 20MHz ?
2. Is it possible to trigger the generation of the DATA from a trigger input (also on the master TSW14J56) instead of the GUI ?
thanks,
Domenico

Hello I am having trouble importing the LM5122 configured using TI Power Designer. I am unable to export the schematic and board for Eagle 9.1.3 correctly. There are issues when running the script or opening the board/schematic files.
Can someone help me import the file correctly?(Please visit the site to view this file)
Part Number:TIDA-01580
Hello, Actually I want to manufacture the TIDA-01580 board in India but the manufacturer is not able to design the board stating reason AFE4900 has a very small package and cannot be manufactured. please let me know how can I developed that board as I need to do the testing of my application. Also, can I get that board from anywhere?
thanks in advance

Part Number:PMP7760
We have implemented an exact copy of your reference design PMP7760, featuring the LM5022 controller, and evaluated it in the lab. The performance is OK when the input voltage is nice and ramps up. But when the power input has excessive impedance (causing instability) or is applied suddenly (high dV/dt), the resistor R112 blows. This in turn causes loss of regulation, which of course is quite destructive on the secondary side. Interestingly, all other components on the primary side survives this.
So my first question is: What is the purpose of R112? How is it calculated, can it be omitted, what power rating should be used?
My second question is: What is the cause of this failure? Whatever happens on the power input shouldn't affect R112 which sits on an auxiliary winding, right? The surge that blows it must either be induced by the transformer or caused by a mysterious strong negative voltage pulse on the Vin node (which I assume doesn't happen since the controller survives the event).
I will perform more measurements but since the failure causes such a mess I want to know what to measure before my next attempt.

Part Number:LM2670
Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hi team,
Our customer inquired following issue.
I am using Power Architect in WEBENCH (Firefox with Flash plugin) and I want to setup the power tree for my PCB design using the LM2670 and several other specific TI switchers and regulators. I can setup the sources and loads and get a result but WEBENCH is only allowing me to select from small set of available parts. The parts I want to use seem to be available in WEBENCH because I can kick off a single switching supply simulation without issues.
