TINA/Spice/TPS24750: PSPICE model doesn't converge; would like a TINA model

Part Number:TPS24750

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

TI Team-

I downloaded the PSPICE model for the TPS24750- with the stock settings, it would not converge.

Do you have a TINA version available?

We are looking closely at the behavior of the PGb pin since it appears to be behave backwards compared to usual conventions.

Thanks, Best, Steve

Part Number:TIDA-00951

Hello,

we would like to build TIDA-00951 system (as we can not buy it). System consists from other reference designs, if possible we would like to order/buy those not to deal with their assembly. Could you write back whether following reference designs are available:

-          TIDA-01159 (2-pcs),

-          TIDA-01141 (1-pcs),

-          TIDA-01281 (1-pcs)

There is also software needed to run TIDA-00951 reference design: TIDA-00951-SW , which I already once ask for but didn't get any reply - could you support me also in this case?

Best regards,

Boris

Part Number:TIDA-01414

Hi,

We are interested in using TIDA-01414 as a reference for our design. We will be using Keystone 2 DSP.

According to the reference design document the software files should be available for download at the Product Page. It states

To download the software files, see the design files at TIDA-01414

Source: www.ti.com/.../tidud45.pdf

But there are no reference to any software sources in the product page.

TINA/Spice/LM237: Help needed adding more models

Part Number:LM237

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I was using the "Find a component" tool in TINA and the TI WEBENCH SpiceRack Device Model Search, and it seems that the two component model lists are different for me. I downloaded TINA somewhat recently so I cant imagine my program is out of date. So my question really is: Is there a way to update my component list in the TINA program that I have? (e.g. SpiceRack has the LM237 listed but I cant find it using the "Find a component" tool).

Thanks,

Nick

Part Number:THS4521

I am trying to simulate the THS4521 and I'm getting errors when trying to run it. I am using the PSPICE Rev C model with LTspice. From letting it auto-generate, the model still complains about the following when doing analysis:

ERROR: Node U2:I0:I21:1:102 is floating and connected to current source G:U2:I0:I21:1:RA
ERROR: Node U2:I0:I19:1:102 is floating and connected to current source G:U2:I0:I19:1:RA

u2:i0:vprobe4: Missing value, assumed 0V @ DC
u2:i0:i32:vprobe: Missing value, assumed 0V @ DC

I saw there was another thread about the TINA model not working correctly with single ended supplies and wondered if that could be part of the issue.

Can I use this zener diode: MMSZ4689T1 instead of the original one - 1SMB5918BT3G used in the design?

Also Ive created a gsm supply using reference design. Could you please review the layout and suggest improvements

WEBENCH® Tools/TLV62569: Strange feedback resistor ratios on webench

$

Part Number:TLV62569

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Looking at solutions for 3.3V converters on Webench using the TLV62569, I notice a discrepancy in the resistor ratios for the available solutions.  The TLV62569, TLV62569P-DRL, and TLV62569P-DDC all show feedback dividers of 442k/105k.  This gives a ratio of 4.209:1, which with the stated 0.6V Vfb from the datasheet, gives an output voltage of 3.12V.  I don't see any mention in the datasheet of a Vfb bias current that would account for this discrepancy, and in fact the example application in the datasheet for 1.8V output shows a divider of 200k/100k.

Webench solutions for the TLV62569A-DRL and TLV62569AP-DRL show dividers of 453k/100k, which give a ratio of 4.5:1, which makes sense for 0.6V reference and a 3.3V output.

Is there an error or omission in the datasheet, or in the Webench solution calculator?

TINA/Spice: TPD4E05U06 and IEC61000 simulation models

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

In my application I need to protect my circuit (RS422 serial communication at ~10MSPS) from IEC61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC61000-4-4 (EFT) and IEC61000-4-2 (Surge). For that purpose, I select the TPD4E05U06 IEC ESD device. Can I simulate this module in TINA TI? Do you have simulation for the IEC61000 testing? (even partial testing will help too…).

Hello TI engineers,

I have a customer who wants to import the spice model of TPS5453 in TINA but he is getting an error. I imported by myself and I get the same error again. I guess, the link is broken. Can you fix the .lib file? or Do you have any suggestion? I attached the error message.

Many thanks!

TINA/Spice/SN74HC04: HC Series Hysteresis

$

Part Number:SN74HC04

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I noticed that when using the TINA-TI HC series models the input on all the family devices do not show any significant hysteresis. According to the data sheets the HIGH level should be ~ 30% below VCC and LOW should be ~30% above GND.

The attached .TSC shows 3 simple gates demonstrating switching with just 33.4mV delta on the inputs, around the transition point. This makes the models unrealistic, particularly where RC timing circuits are employed. Even by selecting Linear or Non-Linear transfer characteristics they do not seem to observe the HC family definitions.

I recognise that the values in the table above are defined at 5V Vcc, however the models seem to offer a very very small noise margin way less than what is expected.

Do I have outdated models, or am I mistaken?

All the best

Aidan
