TIDA-00961: availability of datasheet of inductor regarding

Part Number: TIDA-00961

The boost inductors (L102,L103) which u have redesigned is 15uH and the part number is 019890300R . But it is not updated in gerber. Can you please provide the data sheet of the old inductor( nductor, Toroid, Ferrite, 327 µH, 0.065 ohm, TH). The part number is 7840-09-0014.

Hi,

Can you please confirm the component U304 used in the circuit is LP2986AIMM-3.3/NOPB. The pitch mentioned in the gerber is 0.65mm which is for the SSOP Package ICs only. But no SSOP packages are available for LP2986 ICs .Only SIOC ,VSSOP and WSON  are the available packages. Can we use VSSOP Package LP2986AIMM-3.3/NOPB as U304 for the same footprint.

PMP20612: Altering PMP20612 for my purposes

I build high-end tube guitar amps in one of which, currently I use a combination of three Mean Well power supplies to get 450V @ 500mA, 6.3V at around 2.5A and a 12V in the order of around 250mA. I am looking to move on from that because various aspects are non-ideal.

The PMP20612 schematic looks like it might be flexible enough, but I just do not have the knowledge or expertise to do this.

If someone could kick me in the right direction I'd be delighted.

I am thinking of getting a couple of pcbs fabricated (from the gerbers on the PMP20612 dev page) but need a wiser person than me to explain why that board will not work, if indeed it will not!

Dear Sir, I am trying to make this application more towards the hardware compatible. As I have to put manchester coding . I am trying to balance dc by sending a 1khz wave on the bus line. and if any data will be sent and change in dc line may detect the data. I have seen many modules which they majorly giving the hardware compatibility irrespective of the firmware. Can u help me in getting some better way for Dc balance?

Moreover i calculated the value for inductor and capacitor with my exact data signal rate. But it does not work fine.

Hello,

I've been trying out the Webench Power Designer tool, however I'm not sure if a part of the generated schematic is correct.

It shows that the Vcc, PGood and SYNCIN pins should all be connected together and also to a capacitor to ground (circled in red below)
However I believe that only Vcc should be connected to the capacitor, PGOOD should be used as an output (or left disconnected), and SYNCIN depends on whether an external sync input is used or if diode emulation mode is used.

Is there a reason for this design, or is this a fault?

Hi

Power over RS485. Can I get the values of inductor which are been used for this application?

My data rate is 115200.  will an exact schematic will work over RS485 on dc bus.

My application will be in an ideal condition much of the time, So dc saturation will be required so shall I go with trilevel with same inductance value.

I am simulating a hysteresis comparator using LMV7219. It is working at 5V supply but not working at 3.3V supply.  My circuit is using 3.3V supply.

Hi,

Can I set the input value over 3V?

In the following simulation, Vin is a triangle wave from 0 to 5V with DC level 2.5V. When it is 5V, the positive input (Vcs_o) of the op is 3.3V, what is the real output (Vcs_op)? the simulation value is 3.3.

Datasheet says the output will less 3V. I am wondering if I can set it over 3V for the input in real-life circuit? Does it get saturated when it is over 3V?   Thanks, -Hongmei Wan

TIDA-00195: Snubber protection of the IGBT switch

Dear sir,

In general we will use snubber capacitors for the IGBT protection while using inductive loads. But there is no snubber capacitor or any other snubber capacitor is used for the IGBT protection in TIDA-00195. 

Could you please tell me, how the IGBT switch is protected against inductive loads for the inverter?

also we are planning to use  FP75R12KT4. Do we required snubber protection for this IGBT.? Kindly confirm the same.

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customers.

1) The user founds the system will get shut down if the AC input is about 115V and the output power is less than 100W. Is there something wrong on the user's side? OR is it same on your side? If it is same on your side, what is the reason? For example, the system has not dealt with light loads? unexpected trip?

2) Do we have any idea and/or suggestion about the control mechanism for PWM switching rate faster than 1.2MHz? OR do we have any plan for that?
