PMP20637: PMP11432

Pl see attached pdf that highlights primary current  used in the UCD3138 control card.

But where is this IPS generated? In the C2000, FB-LLC, one has a clear circuit in the primary and labels that can be tracked all the way from primary to the control card.

In a similar manner, which HB-LLC design would have generated IPS & with what filtering as a design guide?

It is not in any of the tidrn80, tidrn82 & tidrn83

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Our roadblock right now is that we do not seem to pin down our GaN HB-LLC with split capacitor provides  all signals UCD3138 control card expects &  also can receive all signals the control card sends for proper control.

We need to proceed to routing asap.(Please visit the site to view this file)

Part Number: TPS548A20

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello,

I am currently trying to test certain data points for the TPS548A20 in TINA including analysis of the Switching Node, Loop Response, and Line/Load Simulations.

Is there a certain way to test these parameters other than the "Transient" option?

Connor

TINA/Spice/TLV2374: Unexpected Behavior from SPICE Model

Part Number: TLV2374

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello,

I have been trying to use the models provided for the TLV2374. However, in open loop simulations I am getting a gain of -18dB with a voltage supply of 5V (which is in the range specified on the datasheet), and a gain of 18dB with a voltage supply of 1V (which is not in the supply range). I have tried this simulation with both the TINA-TI tool and LTSpice, and have gotten the same results both times. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks.

TIDA-01487: Design works up to 800khz, but behaves oddly at 1 mhz

Part Number: TIDA-01487

I've been working with this reference design myself, at first with my own board, but more recently with the exact board files that TI gives in their reference design page. I've found that I can run the CAN just fine at 800 khz but when I bump up the communication rate to 1 mhz I start to get strange behavior on the bus. The most obvious symptom is the bus usage immediately jumps to near 100%. When probing with a scope, I can see that after a message ACK bit, the bus will return briefly to the recessive state then get pulled low again, remaining locked low until the transceiver times out and resets.

In the above image, the bright yellow trace is the can line logic, red trace is TX1, orange trace is RX1, green trace is TX2, and the purple trace is RX2 . About two-thirds of the way through he shot, You can see a message is ended with an ACK bit (red line going low the first time). This locks the bus in a dominant state until the transceiver times out, only to be pulled low again. Eventually the bus will recover and send the next message, but at the end of that message it will repeat this cycle. I've tried both increasing and decreasing the time delay on the circuit from dominant to recessive, it either makes no change or completely breaks the communication. Does this sound familiar to anyone working on this circuit at TI?

I have bought some RF430FRL152H. But I do not know how to import it into my Tina to simulate. What should I do and where could I get the simulation model?

Thank you!

TIDA-00374: Software problems - finite state machine endless waiting

Part Number: TIDA-00374

Hello guys,

I am trying to develop my own board based with the reference design from TIDA 00374 project.

I can flash with the CCS with no problems and can debug with the XDS110 Debug Probe, but I cannot see the Packet Sniffer data.

In the debugger mode I can step in main.c through the RF_postCmd that call the RF.c .

    /* Set the frequency */
    RF_postCmd(rfHandle, (RF_Op*)&RF_cmdFs, RF_PriorityNormal, NULL, NULL);

In  the program code in RF.c is a fsm with

- fsmPowerUpState

-fsmCpeState

-fsmSetupState

-fsmActiveState

-fsmPowerDownState

-fsmPowerDown2State

I can step through this fsm until fsmSetupState. The code will never go to the fsmActiveState and I don't know why. I suggest the relevant interrupt to jump to the next state is missing?

All ideas and suggestions are very welcome!

TIDA-00355: Where to get the transformers used in design

Part Number: TIDA-00355

Hello,

I could not find the transformers(part number: 750342670,750342671) that are used in the design. I have read previous threads but I'm not satisfied with the answer. If I request the transformers to Wurth Electronics(which doesn't have a retailer in India)  it takes time and consumes more money for me to request them the part. Is there any alternative to do so. Please help me regarding this.

Thank you!

Dear friends

I am using in a new project  the 4 x opamp OPA1679   I can not find this Spice model in the Tina-Texas  software we have installed
I cann't  find it at the Texas Specs and support pages

Is it possible to get the Spce info?  Or someone knows a Texas opamp with very similar specs that the model 1679. Maybe a different input noise.

Hi team,

Do you have the following information that the customer want ? simulation tool and layout guides for TPS65295

Example, webench or excel tool..and TINA?but i not used TINA before, is there for TPS65295?

Because can’t find on website. please kindly help reply the following 4 requests. Thanks for your support.

1. The layout guide for the lower layer of the PCB. Is there a hollow under the LX signal line below the inductor? Or paving a specific pattern?

2. The layout of the PCB causes a change in the inductance value. How to evaluate it?

3. Does the Eddy Current of the inductor interfere with other lines, can it be simulated?

4. How to properly construct the Switching Power model and evaluate it with SIPI?

Part Number: TPS54531EVM-530

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I am trying to simulate the circuit for TPS54531DDA from the application note slvu890 (page 15 TPS54531EVM-530) in TINA TI. But I am not getting proper voltage output during simulation. Input voltage is 28V and required output voltage is 5 volt but after Capacitor C4 (connected to pin 1 "BOOT" )  voltage drops to few mV. I tried to simulate a circuit autogenetated on WEBENCH, this circuit also not giving proper voltage output in TINA TI.

I have exported TPS54531DDA model from WEBENCH to TINA TI as TPS54531DDA spice model is nor available in TINA TI.

Part Number: TIDA-00355

Hello,

I found that few part values are not provided in the schematic and BOM as well.  The sample image of your schematic design you provided is given below, similarly these parts(C7, C8, C29, C32, C44,  D15, R43) data is missing. Is it possible to refer the design and let me know the values of the requested parts as soon as possible.

Thanks

Sandeep

Hello,

As I am student engineer I work for a project with PMP 11536.

I spend a while to analyze the schematic and I understand the most part.

But there are still two questions that stay mystery for me.

1. GND and PGND are linked by a Net-Tie.

Why GND and PGND are not the same ground plane ?

2. in this part of the circuit :

I understand Input is PMID from BQ25895 and Output is USB VBUS to charge devices. But I do not understand how it works ...

Thank you

Best Regards,

Theo

TIDA-01530: Reverse current protection solution.

Part Number: TIDA-01530

Hi team

I checked function of Q5 and Q16 in TIDA-01530.

  • Q5 : "The MOSFET Q5 blocks this generated voltage from the VMOTOR supply."
  • Q16 :" The n-channel FET Q16 blocks the motor voltage from reaching the SH pin when the slow winding is not active"

Is it ok to use the Smart Diode (LM74610-Q1) and n-CH FET instead of Q5 and Q16 to configure the circuit as shown below?
