UCC28730EVM-552 and PMP9561 seem to be the same design - is the Altium source available to save me the effort of re-entering it for a customer design?
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m trying to determine the trace widths for my power traces for a motor driver circuit. I'm referencing TIDA-020008 design and I have a few questions:
My motor driver circuit's application has a motor RMS current of 3.5A and stall current of 9A.
Thanks,
John

Hi Team,
I want to make a design using LMR33620 on fsw = 2.1MHz.
Could you tell me how to change the fsw when launching new design?

Hi,
I am designing a +-50A current monitoring board intended for a similar application as the TIDA-00366 design. The shunt resistor i am using is the WSLP2726, which is a 4-terminal resistor with a power rating of 7W and has a value of 1mOhm. The voltage drop across this resistor will be fed to an AMC1300B isolation amplifier. Now my issue is with the pcb trace thickness for such high current. I used the digikey trace with calculator as seen on the image below and even with 4oz of copper thickness, the required trace with is still high. How can I reduce this required trace width as you have done in the TIDA-00366 design?
Kind Regards,
Bright C

Hi Experts,
Tried to design a charger using TIDA-00704 (w/o MCU) for 28.8v, 20Ah battery,
I have two questions
1. How can I control the output voltage and current of TIDA-00704?
via FB pin on U8 or via Vref and Iref of U5 and how to use these pins?
2. Need a troubleshooting manual or checkpoints for TIDA-00704 as it stops charging the battery earlier it starts charging with 31v, 10.5A,
tried adding a FB of 200mV to 3v for charging the output voltage.

I want to use TPS544B25RVFR part in one of our internal applications. As to get familiar with the part we started running simulations using TI Webench power designer. Our requirement is to generate 1V @ 15A current from 12V input. With this specification when we ran AC analysis a Bode plot showing unrelated magnitude and Phase curves (Magnitude curve not crossing 0dB) through which we couldn't find crossover frequency, Gain margin etc.
Surprisingly, this is not the case with TPS544C25RVFR which has given some expected data.
Here, i am attaching Bode plot with both cases, can you please help us to get a better picture over them?

Hello,
We have MSP430 Launch Pad + Capacitive Touch BoosterPack. We are looking for TouchProTool. When we click on the link to download the demo (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau486e/slau486e.pdf) we get the following
error.
"Sorry We couldn't find your page"

Please let us know where can we download this demo?
Thanks

I have attempted to use the power stage designer but the Loop Calculator is clipped off at the bottom and there is no ability to resize or scroll the dialog contents to see the information that is not visible. I have tried this on multiple machines both desktop and laptop with the same results. I have attached a screen shot of the image that is displayed. I have also tried changing the resolution of the screens with no improvement. This screen shot was taken on a display with 1140x900 resultion but I have tried it on one with 1600x900 with the same results.

I would like to design a boost converter using LM3481 from texas instruments. To de the job, I have selected TINA TI circuit simulator, where the average model of LM3481 is given. So I have used this model to get the open loop bode plot of the power stage without the compensator. My objective is to get a plot that will help me to decide where to put poles and zeros of the compensator. The circuit is given bellow with (L=6uH, Rsense=20m, Fsw=227kHz)
My probleme is that I do not know how to built a circuit for AC simulation, for exmample, I do not know how to isolate the COMPENSATION PIN or where to connect it.
*How do I get Vout/Vcomp bode plot (the open loop gain of the power stage) in order to decide where to place zeors and poles of the compensator

Hello, I have a couple of questions on the evaluation board:
1) Comparing the BOM for the TIDA-00524 (Revision A) and the BOM posted online, both C9 and C10 are populated on the physical evaluation board. Please advise what the value of these components is.
2) Verifying the resonance frequency of the assembled board, when the battery is not populated, it is ~13.03Mhz. With the battery populated, it is ~13.60Mhz. Please advise if the tag requires battery power in order for an accurate measurement to be made with a spectrum analyzer.
3) Is there a documented measurement of the coil inductance?
Thank you,
Karl

Hi,
I am giving 30V 50hz input,i am not switching any switches(MOSFET and GaN FET)and Control card also . The waveform after the diode D101 with respect to AGND should be half wave. But the waveform is comming wrong the screen shot of the same is attached below and average voltage should be Vm/pi but it is comming more than that. But if i isolate circuit after the thermistor(R101) by opening R101 the wave is comming correct.
Thanks

Part Number: TIDA-01063
For a defense project, we need to measure a 2500 Amps pulse current with a rise time of 2-3 micro secs.
This pulse is produced by discharging a 0.3 uF capacitor charged to 5000Volts- the load being a small impedance of >2 ohms.
The switch to do this discharge is an Infineon IGBT -FZ750R65KE3. The pulse frequency is low - every 10 secs or so.
The event sequence is- Arm the HT( a voltage doubler ) feed to 5600V, Charge the Capacitor to 5000V ( sensing by measuring current through a 1 Gohm Resistor and V drop
across a 100K resistor). An Electrometer grade LMC6001, op amp gives a low imp. signal for display and control.
Then one can chose to FIRE or ABORT the run. High Voltage Reed switches are used with appropriate resistors for CHARGE and ABORT functions.
For FIRE , a 18V -100 microsec - pulse from an IGBT driver chip ( UCC21521) is used.
Inspired by your TIDA-01063 and related efforts using Rogowski Coil, We have designed and made a few pieces of this Coil.
For signal amplification, we are using AD8421- Ins. Amp at a Gain of 100.
Beyond this we, need a little hand holding for Calibration etc.
Your expert comments will be of great help.

Hi Team,
I am trying to simulate the current through a coax cable as described in this post:
http://aaronscher.com/Circuit_a_Day/coax/circuit2.html
Please see the following TINA file.
(Please visit the site to view this file)
I have not found a way to reproduce the frequency vs current graph. Is that possible to do in TINA? If it is possible, can you please show me how?
Thank you,
Jared

Hi ,
We are looking for a MSP CapTIvate MCU Development Kit . We found one in this link
http://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-CAPT-FR2633
However it uses MSP430FR2633 but our design has MS430FR2533 (we are designing a board for captouch application using MSP430FT2533IDA) . So we are looking a development kit with MSP430FR2533 so that the code we generate can be used in our board. Do you have MSP Captivate MCU development kit with MSP430FR25RRIDA?
Thanks

When motor speed reaches 80krpm-90krpm, it becomes instability, how to solve the problem? What parameters or section should we modify for the software source code?

Hello,
this is jaeyup.
Thank you for your reply.
Is TIDA-01604 Control Card (Piccolo F280049 controlCARD) automatically saved to the Control Card when the program is downloaded through CCS?
If so, does the program that downloaded the Control Card automatically activate when USB voltage is applied ???
If it doesn't, I want to know how to save it.
best regard.

Dear team:
How to determine the grid frequency in reference design TIDA-01604? I only see the phase-locked section in the reference manual.
