Compiler/TIDA-01604: Piccolo F280049 controlCARD

$

0

Part Number: TIDA-01604

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

this is Jaeyup

Hello, I have some questions.

1.Debug through CCS on TIDA-01604 Control Card, but no PWM waveform comes out from MCU. I would like to know if there are separate conditions for the PWM waveform or if I need to use a different method.
(I randomly applied PWM directly to the gate driver TIDA-01605, and I confirmed that the gate driver operates normally.)

2. I debugged the PFC with Open Loop, but of course, the PWM waveform does not come out so the output does not come out properly. As a result of checking GuiVin through Watch Dog, the voltage value is continuously changed and it is switched to negative voltage and positive voltage. I want to know the reason.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Hello, engineer of TI:

I am now using BQ40Z50EVM, and the board is awakened by the wake button. Now I want to realize the short press on the board (such as 1 second) wake button, and only the LED shows the power (no wake up), and long press (such as 3 seconds) to realize the wake up boot function. How to configure or operate?

PMP7672: Output Voltage Issue

Part Number: PMP7672

Hi!

I am designing a power supply using design reference of PMP 7672 .

But I have a doubt that I required output Voltage to be 75V and Current selection can be 60mA, 120mA, 240mA. and this is a Isolated Design for T8 Tube light.

But Excel sheet I downloaded for design parameter showing max no. of LEDs having 10 Nos with LED Forward Voltage of 3V.

Can I Design 18W with this reference Circuit or IC having issue for Isolated Design for 75V output voltage?

Please Guide...

Also can it will be possible to achieve THD<15% and PF> 0.9 for this design please suggest.

I use a battery with a 18650 lithium battery and no temperature sensing pins.
Is it appropriate to use the BQ21040 as a charger?
The temperature sensor function of the BQ21040 is not used.

If this feature is not needed, a fixed 10kΩ can be placed between TS and VSS to allow normal operation.

IS there possible  i placebetween TS and VSS to allow normal operation. then without 10kΩ thermistor?

Part Number: LMR23625

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello experts,

I have question for Cff value of LMR23625 based power supply.
In WEBENCH, I designed power supply in the condition as below;
Input : DC8V-31.5V
Output 5V, 2.1A
At this condition, Cff is suggested 10pF.
But if I followed datasheet calculation (formula 17 and 18), the value will be 25pF.
There is difference between two suggestion.
Which value should I follow better?
Thanks and best regards,

WEBENCH® Tools/UCC28C45: DCDC-Flyback-Converter: Webench creates CUSTOM transformer which cannot be bought

$

Part Number: UCC28C45

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi Forum,

I have run an Webench design for DCDC 24V, 2,5A flyback and I got out a design with a customized transformer which has values that I cannot take an off-the-shelf transformer easily.
The Webench output transformer has the following values: Lp = 17.44µH, Rp = 870 mOhms, Leakage_L = 358.885 nH,  Ns1to Np = 1.269, Rs1 = 8.6 mOhms, Ns2toNp = 0.62, Rs2 = 700.0 µH.

Because this is not an off-the-shelf transformer, I cannot buy it from a listed manufacturer portfolio or a distributor. So I gave these data to a transformer manufacturer to ask them how to deal with them. They called back and said, that they can't deal with those values. And over that, we won't have a component need of several thousands of transformers, so a custom made one would get pretty expensive.

My question is what would you recommend to take as transformer? How to align it with data of a real transformer datasheet?
And overall: Why does Webench not create a circuit with existing - buyable - components like fixed transformers listed by Wuerth, Pulse, Coilcraft etc. and takes the chip and other fixed data and places the other more flexible components like C's and R's, transistors etc. dependent to them?

Part Number: TIDA-010054

Hello Team,

I'm using the Design Guide: TIDA-010054 to complete some analysis.

I have a concern with the parametre "t.zero" in the equation 20, i didn't get its meaning and how to calculate it ?

in some other calcualtions, "Eq18 and 19" i use the same input data as you but i didn't get the same result ! ?

Thanks in advance.

TIDA-00961: Question about connections to L102 and L103, and ZVS circuit operation.

$
0
0

Part Number: TIDA-00961

I am having problems with the ZVS circuits

I see that Pin 2 of L102 is labeled AUX2A and is connected to C219 of ZVS circuit.

Pin 4 of L102 is labeled AUX2B and is connected to D211

Pin 2 of L103 is labeled AUX1B and is connected to D205

Pin 4 of L103 is labeled AUX1A and is connected to C203 of ZVS circuit.

This difference causes the signal into ZVS circuit, for L102 ( AUX2A ), to be out of phase with SWNODE2
and produces two pulses from ZCD_Comp2. One at rising edge of SWNODE2 and one at falling edge of SWNODE2.

See attached waveforms

This difference causes the signal into ZVS circuit, for L103 ( AUX1A ), to be in phase with SWNODE1
and produces one pulses from ZCD_Comp1, at rising edge of SWNODE1.

See attached waveforms

Are one of these signal pairs switched? If so Which one?
Are these waveforms correct?

Also do not see any blank signal.

Thank You for your help
