Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi,

Both myself and a colleague have experienced a export fail message when trying to export a Sallen-Key Filter design using the filter design tool.

Is this a known issue? Is there a way to get the export to succeed?

Connor Connaughton

If I do a CCS Debug on the TIDA-01604's control card, does the PFC program be saved even if the USB power is not turned on?
If not, please let us know if you need to specifically modify the code or add any files to the project category.

WEBENCH® Tools/TPS62140: Issue while simulating in TINA software

Part Number: TPS62140

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello,

I am using TPS62140 buck converter in one of my designs. You can check snap of design as below. All the connections are as mentioned in the datasheet. I simulated the design in Webench, I am getting the results. But when I simulate the same design on TINA, I am not getting the desired results. The output voltage is way less than the desired voltage. Please check below snap from the schematic in TINA.

I performed DV analysis in TINA and results I am getting are much below than desired. Please check below snap.

Desired voltage is 2.5V as per datasheet, whereas I am getting just 33mV. Please help me to resolve this issue.

Rewati

TIDA-01623: Simplify the design

Part Number: TIDA-01623

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to simplify the design for the TIDA-01623 reference design. I want to remove the USB component and have the power be directly connected to a gateway. How many of the components are only needed so the power can be properly converted to USB-C and can be removed since I do not want that functionality?

Thanks

WEBENCH® Tools/LM3481-Q1: How to get open loop bode plot

$

Part Number: LM3481-Q1

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi

I'm in a real trouble, a trouble that I did not understand its source. First I have downloaded LM3481 average model from TINA TI website, the date of release of this average model is 21/04/2015.

I have built a circuit in TINA TI v9.2, in order to perform an AC Simulation. My objective is to get the open loop of my circuit (the powere stage) that will allow me to place the poles and zeros at the appropriate locations to stabilise my boost converter.

the specifications of the boost converter are:

Vout=12V

Iout=1.8A

L=6u

Fsw=227kHz

Rsense=20m

When i simulate I get a very strange phase diagram, a diagram that has nothing to do with powerstage of boost converter in current mode configuration.

Please, I really need your help, because I have 3 days trying to get the result but I did not.

The circuit I have used is shown bellow and the simulation file is attached.

In the circuit I have set Vc as output and Vout as output.

Closed loop speed control of induction motor  matlab simulation i am trying by using DSP board F28379D.  in closed loop operation Speed measurement sensing through proximity sensor. Output of speed sensor having only one signal. speed sensor data giving to DSP board through the eQEP block of matlab for comparision with original speed. but i am not understanding how to use eQEP block for speed measurement. Please give me a suggestion for how to use eQEP clock in speed measurement. If possible provide vidio link for usage of that block in matlab with dsp boardF28379D.

TIDA-00961: Timing of the Active FETs and Synchronous FETs

Part Number: TIDA-00961

I think the On time of the active FETs are controlled by the voltage Loop. Is that correct?

What controls the On time of the Synchronous FETs? I think they are turned off before Zero crossing of the Inductor current.

Is that correct? What determines the turn off time?

When I run Build 2 with 150 Watt load The Synchronous FET does not turn on. See attached.

Z4 (green) is voltage across Active FET, Switch Node.

Z5 (gray) is the Synchronous FET drive.

Z6 (Blue) is the Active FET drive.

Hi There,

I have a question about Schematics and Layout of the HV motor control with PFC kit. What software or tool did you use to draw the HV motor control PCB layout and schematics?

I tried with the Altium designer software but I couldn't translate them. Would you please guide me ?
