I want to implement the PMP8896 reference design: http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP8896, in my own design; however, I have strict constraints on my flyback transformer height, it must be < 13 mm. Can you recommend a replacement that is shorter than the transformer spec'd, pn: NA6223-AL, which is 13.7 mm?
The reason I like this design is b/c of high efficiency, i.e. ~90%, at my typical power consumption. I am OK with other recommended designs, and my power spec is only 7W. So, my requirements are: 7W max and efficiency optimized (+90% desired) at 4W as an isolated design.

Hi,
I am running the system in open loop( INC_BUILD=1), new_ton_calc =20, and i am applying load of 333 ohms and input of 100V DC. In this build you are using only two switches. initially switching frequency is 1Mhzs and output voltage is 130V. But after sometime switching frequency is 200Khz and on period of active switch is very less (i.e around 6%) because of that stored energy is not enough to boost the voltage during this time whatever the input voltage we are giving that only coming across the load. Is this the reason after some time output voltage is 100V.
Thanks

Hello. Is this intended to be a product that will be available for purchase? Follow on question is what is the purpose of this reference design if it cannot be purchased?

Hello Experts,
I am desiging an exact TIDA-00951 DC-DC converter prototype, while desiging TIDA-01281 controller module (baby module of TIDA-00951) i have gotten a doubt in design, perhaps correct or wrong but just before making a schematic thought to take an expert advice.
Could you please have a look on part TMS320F28035PAGTR of TIDA-01281 module ( http://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidrpc0/tidrpc0.pdf ),
on it please notice the pin numbers 48 and 46, are they interchanged? or they have to be as it is.
looking forward to your reply, thanks in advance!!

Hello:
I'm looking into the following battery-backup reference design. However, for our application we need to support a 12V battery with a 24V Vbus / boost supply output.
I need some help in verifying that the following changes are basically what is needed. If TI can provide any guidance or help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Hi team,
Customer come to us for a collection of all TI part Pspice model that they could integrate to simulation software, this could be more convenient for them the use, or they need to download it one by one from our website. Could we offer such a collection of Pspice model?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Will
Hi,
Now I am using pre built image for BeagleBone Black in TI SDK(ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-05.03.00.07-linux-x86-Install.bin).
I need apache2 package in order to run my application.
How can I add apache2 to the image for BeagleBone Black?
(I have confirmed that I cannot add apache2 by “opkg” command on BeagleBone.)

The steady state results between Webbench and SPICE model from TI website are significantly different. Am I using the wrong model or wrong setting?
Attached are the webbench link and TINA spice netlist.

In the TIDA-01455 reference design, there are different RDRV resistors for top and bottom switches. They are defining the slew rate of the transient process of the GAN switch.
In the top switch, 100k resistor is used while in the bottom switch the parallel connection of 100k and 68k resistors. If I'm understanding it correctly, it gives different slew rates for switches. Why?
Top switch:
Bottom switch:
How to choose the slew rate correctly?
By the way, in the bill of materials, there is no Q4 MOSFET which enables 68k additional resistance (while Q4 persists on the scheme). Why? Maybe it is somehow related to the first question: maybe we need only one 100k resistor without 68k in parallel?
Do we really need this transistor Q4 in a 3-phase inverter for bootstrap capacitors charge? And how to determine proper resistance in the bootstrap charging process? Maybe it will be enough to reduce the initial PWM cycle time for the bottom switches during charging?
Hello,
I recently installed TINA-TI 9.3.200.277 SF-TI on a Win10 pc.
Whenever I try to compile or ERC any of TINA's macros (the ones that come standard with the program) from its netlist viewer I get the following error:
Access violation at address 008B936B in module 'TINA.EXE'. Read of address 000004F9
Also when I try to ERC any schematic (even when it doesn't consist a macro) from the schematic editor I get the following error:
<InternalError|GraphGen.Init_Graph>
When I then press 'OK' I get the following message:
Access violation at address 0093001C in module 'TINA.EXE'. Read of address 00000408
And thirdly, when I try the steady state solver on any schematic I also get the <InternalError|GraphGen.Init_Graph> error.
Do any of you have an idea of what's causing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Marius Bouwman
I need to manufacture my PCB with HDI design. I want to know, from where does TI get its pcb's manufactured.

Under TIDEP0076, during the 3d reconstruction of DLP according to the guide of tiduc48b,
The fourth step is to calibrate the camera.
The camera, however, could not turn on properly, and only a dark patch was photographed.
May I ask the reason? Is the parameter not set correctly? Or do we need to set something extra?

Regard TIDA-010083 the standard is IEEE802.3at from my search AT just for high power ,
are it's COMPATIBLE with IEEE802.3af ??
Thanks

Dear Alek,
I saw your conversation with Pravin Jain last year and came to know that TIDA-00818 board can not be made available, however the Gerber files for the same had already been already uploaded, if we get the board ready using those Gerber files will there be any problem in terms of technical as well as legal as the product belongs to others, also we learnt from conversation there is no application as such, as we want to develop this product further will there be any issue if we write application for using this hardware set on our own and continue further.

Hi Ram,
This is related to TIDA-00951 : 2kW, 48V to 400V,Isolated Bidirectional DC-DC Converter.
When i tested the converter in boost mode operation,i am experiencing high voltage spikes across the Active clamp MOSFET(Q5).
Pls refer the below waveform.
Please focus on Ch 3 : Voltage spike across Clamp MOSFET ,which is considered as major limitation to proceed the loading of converter.
FYI,regarding Ch 2 : Voltage spike across Main switches- MOSFET, no issues faced till now.
Also, note down the test condition corresponding to the above waveform
Vdcin : 52 V
Vdcout : 380V
Output load resistance : 500 ohms ( ~290 W)
Switching frequency : 25 kHz
How to protect the Clamp MOSFET and getting rid of the above issues?
regards,
Ramesh P

HI guys ,
This is very urgent
In my recent project I am using TPS55165-Q1 buck boost converter and also I am using recommended circuit .
i am connecting all this pin except this pins . I dont known how to drive this pin please help me to compelete my project
My requirements :
VIN - 8V TO 36
VOUT - Fixed 12V or fixed 10V also fine

Dear TI Team,
I have designed a Flybuck converter for 44Vin to 54Vin at 12Vout-iso, 1.2A using Webench. kindly find the design report in attachment, in order to get 12V output i have changed the values of rfbb and rfbt resistors , while operating at 44V initially the circuit works and shows the desired output voltage but after few cycles the switcher ic's pin (ie Vin and gnd) is getting shorted internally. kindly address me what possibly could be the reason.
