im looking for low power, 4 output PMIC. 

information given below is in the order of;

IC name : Voltage ; Current comsumption 

MCU (CC2642R) : 2.1V - 3.8V 

IC1 : 1.8V ; 46mA

IC2 : 1.62V - 3.6V ; 0.13mA

IC3 : 3V - 5V ; 350mA

the battery is 580mAh , able to supply from 3V to 4.35V. MCU needs to be on always. the rest of the outputs needs to be turned off and on. need low Iq/low quiescent current PMIC. please let me know if there is any candidate fit this requirement.

We have reproduced the TIDA-01168 with the scope of using this in an application. I have looked at other posts and I couldn't find anything relating to the following concerns. Apologies in advance if this has been addressed in a previous post.

(1) During operation, we are observing UART dropouts. This occurs randomly during no-load and load conditions using a UART to USB cable. Is this a setup error or is this a cable error? I've yet to try a different cable to disprove the latter.

(2) We wish to regulate the current and voltage into the battery on either side of the LM5170 using the TIDA-01168 reference design. How does one achieve constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) using the UART interface? I can't see any current settings in the UART commands. Ideally I'd like to set a current and voltage limit and rely on the control loop to prevent exceeding these limits.

Hi,

There is some error in resolver to digital Tida00796 schematic. In the below diagram ,there are some red double cross sign in front of IE1,IE2,IZ1,IZ3,IZ2,IZ4.What is the meaning of those red crosses and also explain the  meaning of red double arrows.

PMP21516 is fairly new design. is there anyway  to get one pcs of this   EVM to test? My customer is searching for a 220VAC input and 24V4A[normal] isolated output solution.   this one is very close to my customer's need. BTW, could you please provide the detailed SPEC of the transformer? thanks.

Greetings,

I am working on design "www.ti.com/.../TIDA-010042" given by TI. In the schematic there are 2 sensors- TMP303CDRLR(for temperature sensing) and OPT3001DNPR(for sunlight intensity). At same link under software link I found the software for given design. In the code in main() Init_I2C(); function was commented and  there is no use of  I2C related variables in code.

My queries are:-

(1) Why exactly we want to calculate temperature and sunlight intensity using stated sensors? I am aware that these factors affect output power of solar panels but anyhow we are calculating  MPPT then what is the need of monitoring temperature and sunlight intensity?

(2)If monitoring temperature and sunlight intensity is important then where to find the complete software related with this design ? If not important then can I remove 2 sensors from the design?

I found the BOM form in the reference design you provided on your company's official website, and found that the model of T1 transformer was 750344183. However, I could not find the transformer information on the official website, could you please tell me where I can find it?

I am intending to charge a 12V battery using this board. Does the PV panel voltage have to be between 15V and 22V like the documentation says. Can it support a Vmp of 32V for a 12V battery system. What would happen if a higher PV panel voltage were connected to the board charging a 12V battery system?

I am using a 280W solar panel

Hi ,we are simulating ADC in TINA according to TI Precision Lab Video 5.3. The video teach us to modify "TR excitation subdivisions" and "TR time intrv. Subdivisions" to get desired waveform (as picture below). 
We could follow the video, however, we are ot sure what's the real meaning of these parameters. 

A more general question is , where to find the meaning of these parameters in TINA so we can know how to modify them to refine our simulation . Thanks !

I am running system in current loop(i.e INC_BUILD=2), when i am changing "uspwmEnable" variable in expresstion window from 0 to 1(it means when i am starting switching) ''ocp_fault" variable is setting high but i am probing for input current it is not going beyond the thresold value Then i went through the code where the variable is setting

This is shyamu jha, i have doubt i brought USB2ANY and able to successfully connect with tics pro TI GUI. but i don't know how to load data so that i can check the SPI interface on 10 pin connector of USB2ANY, actually i want to verify the 10 pin of USB2ANY in the CRO. when i did all Resistor write, it is showing error in resistor write.

so please tell me how can i proceed.
