Hi,
May I know what is the replacement for GCI inductors for the AC/DC converter as in some designs? I am done with it! It's been months (since end of July 2019) up to now! What's wrong with them?!

Hello,
Is it possible to speed up the a simulation in TinaTI by reducing its accuracy?

Hi,
some Elements are notated with "NC" e.g. C211, C208, C214, R252, C815, C816. These Elements don't also exist in BOM. Are These Elements really disconnected from the System and can be removed?
Thanks, Amr

Sir,
We tried implementing the circuit with LM25118 as obtained from WEBENCH. But we did not get the desired output 28 V. We are getting 50 V as output. Please suggest a solution for this issue. The circuit diagram is attached with this.

Hi,
I would like to use LM5121/-Q1 in my design and use Webench to confirm. My design will have external Vin supply of 5V and it should enable me to bring down minimum input to 3V. But the webench tool only allows 4.5V minimum. Can you advise solution?
Thanks,

Part Number: TIDA-01168
Hello.
I created a TIDA-01168 based converter.
Please let me know because I have questions.
In 48VIN => 14VOUT operation, if you increase the load current,
A phenomenon occurs in which the output voltage gradually decreases.
The degree of decrease is 0.046V / A, which is almost constant.
Example) 14V / 0A, 13.77V / 5A, 11.70V / 50A
The above is when driving with 4 phases.
When driving with 2 phases,The degree of decrease will double to 0.092V / A.
Circuit constants and source code are mostly as per the reference design.
As a state
CPU voltage measurement value ≒ actual measurement value.
This is not a measurement error.
The voltage error of the 2P2Z controller (bottom) increases with the load current.
(*Reg).Buck.Error = _IQmpy((*Param).Ctrl.P12Vset, _IQ(P12V_ADC_SCALE)) - (*Param).Meas.P12Vscaled;
The error increases, but you do not know why the controller output does not increase further.
I adjusted each coefficient such as B0 and B1, but it was not improved.
What are the possible causes of the symptoms?
Best regards,

20-Series Battery Management Module Reference Design:the voltage at the gates of DSG MOSFETs is about 7.7V(DSG_B≈12V).Is too low for mosfet? And the volgage at gates of DSG MOSFETs will be lower (10V-4.3V=5.7V)when cell is below 2V(VCX=2V*5=10V)。So there is a better solution?

In Webench the DCR of the Vishay inductor IHLP6767DZER1R5M11 is 1.2 mOhm.
However, the datasheet shows a typical value of 3.12 mOhm.
Do you have a different model for this part?
Thanks

Hi,
Im trying to understand how the tool selects parts when it does the automatic selection. I tried 4.5Vin 9Vout 6Aout and the tool recommended different part numbers for the switch and forward diode/fet respectively CSD16340Q3 and CSD17577Q3A. I am planning to use CSD17577Q3A for both as well as to my BQ24640 circuit with 7.5V 6A output to simplify BOM. Please advise if this is ok or if I missed something important.
Thanks,
Emman

Dear Experts,
for testing the Ultrasonic Transducer this booster pack was choose by our company.
By testing this system we was confuse, because it´s not working in the test setup.
Follow Test setup was used:
Now I have the problem, that the LCD are not enabled from the MSP430. For this test I use the Example Code from TI to check the functionality of the board. So, it should by work.
But LCD_BWR, LCD_SPI_CS, LCD_EN and all other pins for the LCD do nothing. The Stop LED are on after starting the system, so the MSP430 should by work.

I am using the TPS54339EDDAR on a simple dc to dc circuit. My input is 18.5v and my output is supposed to be 7v. I used WEBENCH to come up with the circuit and ordered every component from the bill of materials. I replicated the schematic exactly with the components and have had the following result. The circuit begins to output a little under 7v starting at an input of 3.8v, then as the input voltage increases the output stabilizes around 7.5v and stays there until the input hits 17.5v. At this point the output drops to 2.4v. Webench designed the circuit to work at 18.5v so I don't understand what is happening. I made two of these circuit, one at 7v and one at 5v, both circuit are doing the same thing. the 5v one begins to output about 5v around 3.3v and then drops to 1.065v at 14v. I will link the webench items below as well as show an image of the circuit I have built. There is a possibility that I made an error putting it together but need someone else's eyes to see it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm trying to use a UCC21530 gate driver to simulate a buck converter.
The driver is taking in a square wave input of 5 volts and outputs a square wave of 20V which is used to switch a MOSFET.
The gate driver is operating properly.
The buck converter has a duty ratio of 0.4.
The buck converter works fine as long as the drain voltage of the MOSFET is lower than the gate voltage. If the drain voltage is higher than the gate voltage the output of the transistor is capped at 8 volts which is 40% of the gate voltage. I tried this with different MOSFETs from different companies and they all gave me the same result.
Here is the schematic:
VG1 and Vg2 are the input to the driver.
Vm1 and VM2 are the output from the driver.
VM3 is the output of the converter.
VM4 is the input of the converter

Hello,
I have a customer that is looking for an adjusted TINA-TI model that would work with the TPS7A1601. Do you have the model of this part for the TINA-TI software?
They tried to simulate it with the Pspice model but it didn´t work.
Thanks!

I designed a Buck-Boost regulator on Webench, and picked a device which had a complete BOM attached to it. When I go to checkout or "order," only the IC is available, or the EVM kit. Is there anyway to order the entire BOM through Webench?

Is there any update on the promised replacement for the Flash based Webench Amplifier Designer?
Is it still planned for release this winter?
The Amplifier Selection tool mentioned in the "WEBENCH® Tools: TI discontinues Flash-based tools" thread falls far, far short of the old Amplifier Designer.

Hello TI expert(s),
My doubt is regarding the pspice simulation of the average model given in your website. In the schematic of your average model you gave one input DC voltage(165V) and it is given through a switch pulsed by ucc28180 and the output(390v.0.9A) is taken.
1.where is the vcc pin for the ucc28180 in that model, if u modelled it internally what is the voltage level of vcc?
2.what is use of cinj, Linj, and 0V ac source used in it?

Advanced Compensation Designer
The new HTML tool provides an alert when phase margin goes below specified limit and allows you to perform a simple one-click re-compensation design. Full suite of features including specifying Phase margin, Crossover frequency and comparing multiple compensation options is no longer supported in the new tool.
Well that's brilliant. One-click tool may be fine for Amazon to make extra money from mis-clicks but it's not a great match for a highly specialized tool. This nifty feature saved me hours, days and weeks of design time by making it downright trivial to adjust the feedback loop of various topologies on the fly. Converting that process to using e.g. octave / gnuplot is not easy, althought it does promote the ability to actually do things the hard way. I haven't even thought about modelling feedback loops the hard way for years.
