TINA/Spice/TL072: PSPICE Model giving strange results

Part Number:TL072

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I have the following circuit in LTSpice (I know it is not supported by TI, but please read the question anyway):

It's a unity gain buffer of TL072. I see the following output. Why the strange output? (Grey is the output, Green is the input). What am I doing wrong? Is there is a bug in the model, or should I expect this result?

TIDA-00893: TCAN1042 supply current

Part Number:TIDA-00893

Hello,

Our customer trying isolated can circuit based on TIDA-00893.

We can see that ISOW7841 can supply 130mA max to load in this.

However, TCAN1042 requires 180mA supply current when " Normal mode(dominant – with bus fault)" ,  in the datasheet.

Does this ref design not support bus fault condition ?

If we want to support this too, we have to change power circuit design ?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am working on the people counting application using OPT8241 sensor and beaglebone black. For that I created an sd card with processor linux sdk and booted using ubuntu. In one point the guide is saying to view .png generated images winscp is used. How can we transfer the images using winscp and where we can view the generated images.I have downloaded the winscp and connected to the board using ethernet, the picture is attached to this.

TINA/Spice/OPA333: Replacing OPA333 to OPA388

Part Number:OPA333

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

One of my design needs to source the current in nA range.
Requirement,
Resolution: 25nA
Accuracy: 0.1%
Range: 0 to 50uA
I have selected the TI parts and referred the verified design of Low level (5uA) V to I Converter by Arthur Kay.
In this design he used OP-AMP OPA333& INA326 and simulated in TINA-TI and achieved the low current level. I am also simulated this design and able to achieve the nA current level but i had a plan to change this part to OPA388 because the voltage offset and drift.
I changed to OPA388 and simulated but unable to achieve the results and the output current is non-linear.
Kindly suggest what else have to change if i want to use OPA388.

TIDA-00779: Output voltage fluctuation

Part Number:TIDA-00779

While turning on the PFC output DC voltage was 389 V.

Then increased load up to 3.6KW in steps of 240W and voltage was stable at 389 volts.

Then I kept it running as it is for a long time. As the time proceeds the output DC voltage seems to be slowly rising.

so I run it for a very long duration of time.

in 2-3 hours voltage raised up to 401 volts. then in the next 4 hours, it raised up to 403V only and seems to be stable at 403 volts.

Is it a desirable condition?

What can be the possible reason for this?

Thanks.

TIDA-00489: Backdoor access and new sensor

Part Number:TIDA-00489

Hey guys,

I am using the TIDA00489 board and I am making a new version for the circuit board layout. In the new version, I am thinking of a few changes, two I want to discuss with you.

  1. I want to remove J3 together with R14 and R15. In my code, I have already removed the backdoor access and the pin definition for DIO_3.
    1. Do you think this might be a problem, like a current drain or something like that?
    2. Do I have to configure this pin DIO_3 at all to minimize current consumption?

2. As the production of the sensor IRS-B210ST01-R finishes soon and Murata is not planning to continue producing comparable SMD sensors, do you know any sensor (preferable SMD), which could substitute this one having similar performance and requirements to minimize the necessary changes?

I hope you guys can help me out once more.

kind regards

Part Number:TIDA-01573

Hi,

My customer would like to evaluate TIDA-01573 on LMG1020EVM. Could you pls tell me the part number of laser diode which we used to test the TIDA? And, what is the signal generator? Can I use TSW1400 as the signal generator?

Thanks.

TIDA-01243: Looking for guidance on adding another USB3 port, an Ethernet port and an additional HDMI port to the Ref design

Part Number:TIDA-01243

I have a customer who is using the TIDA-01243 as a starting point for their own design, but are looking for guidance on adding another USB3 port, an Ethernet port and an additional HDMI port to the Ref design. The Ethernet needs to be a 10/100/1000 (Gig-Ethernet) solution. The USB3 port should be similar to the one in the Reference design (Port 1 off of the TUSB8041). Likewise, the additional HDMI port should be similar to the port off of the HD3SS460.

The question is how to go about doing this. Can you lend me some guidance on this set of questions?

Thanks!

Part Number:TIDA-00875

Dear TI Experts:

For Single Phase BLDC control, it seems that TI does not provide many reference designs.

I can only find the TIDA-00875.

For the target application: Single Phase BLDC with AC230V input and rated 330W, could you kindly guide me in the design approach?

Thanks for your reply in advance!

Wish you the best!

TINA/Spice/TPS92518: Spice model VIADJ Pins

Part Number:TPS92518

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

What exactly do the VIADJ pins do on the spice model for this part (they arn't real pins) i think they must be related to the LEDx_PKTH_DAC register which relates to CSP and CSN and current sensing however
the reference deign (TPS92518 TINA-TI Reference Design (Rev. A)) has 88V on these pins which means it cant be directly related to it internal voltages.

What voltage input range applies to these pins and how does it relate to the LEDx_PKTH_DAC register as i cant find this information anywhere, and it is not mentioned on reference design

[FAQ] TINA/Spice: ISO7637 profile

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Simulating the ISO 7637-2 early in the design phase of an automotive product can pinpoint issues that would otherwise come to light during electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.

Does TI have models of ISO 7637-2 for Automotive CKT simulation on TINA?

Where can I download the profiles?

Thanks a lot.

TINA/Spice/LM2904: TINA/Spice/LM2904 simulation result (design margin)

$

Part Number:LM2904

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

• 30-degree phase margin is stable? But not in mass production.
• In above circuit, by adding a C1 220pF as capacitive load at the op amp output, there is a gain peaking about 7-dB meaning phase margin left about 20~30-degree.
• Could I say this circuit (single case) is stable?
• But considering mass production, there might be op amp internal compensation cap +/-20% variation in full temperature range and external component tolerance +/-20%.
It is better to keep phase margin > 45-   degree as a rule of thumb.

Hi,

I am working on people counting using beaglebone black revC and TOF sensor. For that I install the http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM335X/latest/exports/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-05.01.00.11-Linux-x86-Install.bin in my linux pc. And according to processor sdk linux, created an sd card with 2 partitions ie boot and rootfs then insert the sd card into beaglebone and by using putty serial connection login to beaglebone .Also connected the tof sensor to the usb port.By following section 4.2.3 of http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidud06/tidud06.pdf  it says failed to create display(No such file or directory).Waiting for your response and kindly share if any documents for reference from your side. The  putty is active, I just disconnect the board that's why its showing inactive.

TIDA-00708: 280-700VDC down-chopper

Part Number:TIDA-00708

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to design a down-chopper as part of my graduation project, with:

V_in = 280-700VDC

V_out1 = 15 VDC (100mA) (Isolated)

V_out2 = Between 8-12 VDC (200mA)   (Isolated), it's for supplying an Arduino Nano.

I've found the TIDA-00708, but the V_in of this part only goes up to 450 VDC.

Does anyone have some suggestions for me?

Kind regards,

Bryan
