Part Number:LM348
Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hello,
I am having an issue with the LM348 Pspice model. I downloaded the latest model from TI's website, however, i am encountering issues simulating. I began with a simple op amp circuit, and regardless of my input, i am getting a steady 3V DC output.
I wish to simulate a sine wave oscillator circuit, however, i cannot get passed this step. it seems there is an issue with the model. Please help.
Thank you.

I normally just walk away from TI when I find their only models won't work in my simulator program of choice due to being encrypted, but these regulators look like they might be something pretty sweet with cmrr all the way up passed a meg and ability to operate off up to 40V rail....
However, now that I downloaded and installed TUNA spice, I've realized that apparently the TINA spice model, supplied for this part on the website, doesn't even import correctly.
Now I'm no expert in TINA but I did watch the video about importing models and it seems pretty straight forward.
Normally, as I said earlier, I would have just walked away from TI as soon as I discovered the state of the models..I figured I t5ry this one plea for rational behavior but quite honestly I'm already half way out the door...I'll just use something else if I can't simulate it. I know of several competitors making part which all have great models freely available for anybody to use.
I guarantee this thing will not be going into my prototypes unless I can get a simulation going despite how great and easy to use they look in their data sheets.
Please help me out with a working model. that I don't need to purchase orcad to use.
Hi, this is karthick from chennai.
I am interested to design the compact and smart battery charger as my own, i am going to use two mosfets in parallel which is in half bridge method.

Hi All,
This TIDA-010015 model redesigned for our design and this was designed for 600W so some up gradation done with the design. During bringup we could see this power supply automatically shut down after loading 3A but it should be capable of giving 25A.
Please advise what could go wrong and where i need to work/look to over come this issue.
Expecting expert advise.

Hi,
I am using TPS57114-Q1 buck converter in my design. In order to perform the stability analysis in Pspice.
I need an average model for TPS57114-Q1. It would be helpful if i get the model at earliest.
Thanks in advance.
With regards,
Rajiya.
Part Number:TIDA-01023
In TIDA-01023,the master LMK04828 SDCLKout1 should be DC-coupled to the slave LMK04828 CLKin0.
I assume that the slave LMK04828 CLKin0 should be used as SYNC input.
The SYNC input should always stay low and accept a positive pulse,so it can not be AC-coupled.
Looking at the default configuration of the LMK04828 EVM,the SDCLKout1 is LVPECL16 and there should be a termination resistor(100 ohm) on the slave LMK04828 CLKin0,but I can not find it.
I also can not find some differential DC-coupling method or specification(like internal bias voltage, input impedance) on the LMK04828 datasheet.
That makes me confused.
Another qusetion is that the ADC12JD3200 SYSREF input should always stay low and accept a positive pulse too, like SYNC input ,but TI recommends AC coupling for SYSREF input .
So I assume that the internal structure will keep SYSREF input low when there is no driver.
Or I should enable SYSREF receiver before SYSREF event and disable SYSREF receiver after SYSREF event.
Thanks.
Part Number:LM25141-Q1
Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Does the LM25141-Q1 suffer the same error (as LM25117-Q1) or does it just have a much higher 'Max duty cycle'? Not quite as clear in datasheet (as with LM25117-Q1).
WEBENCH setup:
LM25141QRGERQ1
Switching Frequency: 348kHz
Input: 5.3V to 38V
Output: 5.05V@4.5A
Duty Cycle: 97.66% at Vin = 5.3V
The efficiency of 97.5% seems to good to be true? (at V_in = 12V, I_out = 1.5A) Can you somehow verify?
Part Number:OPA145
Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models
I downloaded the folder containing pspice models for OPA145 from the TI web page. I'm using KiCad 5+ with ngspice for simulations. However when I try to include the .lib file for the opamp in KiCad, an error "file is not a valid component or symbol library file in input/source "File Path" line 1 offset 0" pops up. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

I am able to import the Webench download of the schematic and library for the BQ25606 into Eagle when I rename the library name to "AcceleratedDesigns_Lib.lbr". However, I also have a Webench download for a TPS61230 design. The problem is when I try to rename the library to "AcceleratedDesigns_Lib.lbr", there is a same name conflict since I'm using both Webench imports in my custom design. Therefore, I am not able to sync up the schematic with the library. How do I overcome this problem?

Hi.
I am interested in Lidar, I bought TDC7200EVM and MSP430F5529. And I confirmed the basic operation of TDC7200 using GUI. After that, I made TIDA-00663, but since it requires firmware and coding work, there are lots of difficulties for beginners to use.(Also, CCS is difficult ...ㅠ.ㅠ) Can I get the basic source code that I used to drive TIDA-00663?
And ... Thank you for helping to assemble TIDA-00663 last time.

Hello Support team,
I tried to make the simulation model based on the condition in Figure 1, Vin=6~8.4V, Vout=16V, Iout=3A.
But Webench couldn't work.
Could you let me know the reason why Webench couldn't work?

Part Number:ADS1298RECGFE-PDK
Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hi,
I am planning to use ADS1298 AFE chip for one of my project before that I wanted to evaluate it on ADS1298RECGFE-PDK.
since I am using windows 10 somehow by following E2E posts I was able to successfully install USB driver correctly.
now I am facing issue with ADS129xECG-FE application, the application seems to hang often, presently I am trying to run this application without any ECG simulator just with ADS1298RECGFE-PDK EVM.
I just wanted to know is it the intended behavior as ADS1298 is not able to sense any valid ECG signals or issue is something else.
I was expecting the EVM to pick any noise signals and plot it for analysis but this didn't happen, I hope this will not repeat once I connect valid ECG signals to board.
let me know if same scenario repeats how to resolve it, any small help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Veera

Hi Team,
I have a questions for Mosfet in limit inrush current part. If Mosfet should be turn on, the voltage betwen Gate to Emitter greater than miller voltage more, also parasitic diode will turn on with RT1 and cannot limit inrush current as expection. Whether Q2 should be pleaced reversed? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Tks.

I have built this design on 11287 PCB using the supplied gerber files. The main output capacitor, 470uF, 16V, swells and leaks electrolyte. It appears that it may be seeing excessive ripple current.
Has anyone else had success with this design. The PMP11287 is similar, but the current limit BJT is obsolete.

HI Ti,
I just do the project by using ADC4249, TSW1400 and DAC3482. and I want to use ADC receive the signal and than output to oscilloscope from DAC.
and I connect these three boards according to TIDA-00069. and than using HSDC Pro to download the firmware of TIDA-00069.
But the DAC dont have the output.
Can you help me?
Thanks,

hi, I have seen you have been thinking about implementing the function to be able to delete sumulations - is there an update? thx, Andreas
Part Number: TIDA-00367
Hi,
Have successfully built the SMPS and it appears to work in NO LOAD situations and with a 55W load too (24V/55W lamp load). The output voltage is about 19.6V. The SMPS appears okay with Short Circuit protection too.
Things went well, thanks to the folks who have chimed in on various aspects.
The issues that I've been seeing:
#1. There's a small noise. The noise varies with the load at the output. Initially, I thought it is from the transformer, that doesn't seem to be the case. The transformer has been manufactured by a professional vendor. It has been varnished, baked and so on.
Where else can the noise come from ? Looking around, I see people talking about capacitors making the noise, Is it really true ?
#2. Changed the load from the lamp to a Brushless DC motor and it's controller. The setup works with a commercial off the shelf SMPS quite okay. But when I do power from the SMPS under consideration, the setup goes really crazy. It appears that the controller gets RESET due to noise from the power supply.
The funnier part, is that the same motor and controller ran well from the SMPS under consideration for about a week. It was all of a sudden, I had a failure of a MLCC, Gate driver (DRV8305) and a MOSFET pair with the BLDC controller. After that the issue was identified and the motor runs perfectly with everything else, except with this SMPS that we are talking about.
As a result for testing purposes, added a 10,000uF/50V electrolytic capacitor along with a 470uH toroid inductor as a LC filter to filter out the power supply ripple. Still, with the LC filter, the motor and it's controller behaves exactly the same.
Tried looking at the ripple at the SMPS output with the load, the ripple voltage is less than 0.5V, looking at the waveform on a scope connected to the power rails.
Now, my query is, how to identify the issue with the SMPS ?
Thanks,
Manu

The webench does not work properly anymore. The schematic is missing all the components, only nets are visible.
